I agree with the assessment of very poor customer service. I telephoned to inquire about lessons and the owner/manager (not sure, but he spoke about "his" facility) was very rude. I asked simple questions and he gave either rambling off point answers or blunt dismissive responses. I don't understand what he aims to gain by being rude, but he has definitely lost my business.

My son never got a chance to go to one class (Bowie, MD)...

I signed my son up for a future session and before doing so checked with his doctor to ensure it would be okay, considering his history with ear infections. We got the go ahead and a month later was told, we should not pursue the class because he would potentially need tubes.

I called KFS to see if they provided refunds in circumstances such as mine, which I was willing to provide doctor support and the first time I called, I was put on hold for literally 30 mins, so I hung up called back and then that same girl who had me on hold for 30 mins answers and with no apology proceeds to ask what I was calling for. I called back later to speak with Brandon (manager), per the girls, advise and he says, "no, but he will have a credit forever."

I can accept that they do not do refunds, however I asked about transferring the "credit" to another student and he said "no, it's for your son". I asked, "If you are not losing out on money, why is it a big deal to transfer the credit?" He had no response and we ended the call with me saying "we have to agree to disagree with your silly policy of not transferring the credit".

My son never got the opportunity to take a class, but from my first impressions and interactions, I would say avoid this "all about money" place.

(Yelp should make a "no stars")

Love the Lesson

My son takes private lessons here and I love the 2 instructors he has had. Wish they offered make up sessions versus passes to family swim. I really saw what he learned while in the pool on vacation. As far as parties go the pool is a rental facility. I attended a party at the Waldorf location and it is the parents job to plan and manage their party.

This place is Great

All 3 of my Kids have taken swim lessons with Brandon and love it. I've been sending all my friends here and they love it too. I've seen this other lady posting and I think I know who she is one of my kids had lessons at the same time as her daughter.

I agree with the other review....

I agree with the other review. Brandon, the manager, is extremely rude. He is costing them thousands of dollars having him be the out front man. Rude, unprofessional, and attitudinal. He has pissed off so many customers, and the owners don't give a damn. When you have a problem, don't call the owner. She prides herself on being an untouchable.when you do locate her and call her, you will be asked not to return from Sir Rudeness himself. Imagine, wanting the public's money, but no public contact. Poor business model for sure. Went to SportFit and took 10 families with me. Adios KidsFirst Swim.

My son recently had his 4th bd...

My son recently had his 4th bday party at this location and all I have to say is TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! Upon entering the center, the staff showed a disinterest of both my family and my guests for being there. I feel as if they much rather enjoy "being off for the moment." they pointed to where we could place our party decorations, cake, and goodies and then, it was simply a "fend yourself for the next 2 hours." We were told that the lifeguard would have games for the children, but when asked, we received a puzzled look and one employee said, "we don't do that." after the party was over, I left in such disgust and promised myself that I would contuse the manager, Brandon Sollars who my husband initially contacted. After contacting him, he rushed me off the phone, and was so extremely rude, it made me feel even more as our patronage meant nothing more than $200! The customer service is so poor, I wouldn't allow my worst enemy to have a party at this location! Stay away! No customer service here!
