RUN AWAY.
I had to call somebody else after they left.

I used Patuxent to move my A/C unit about five feet. This is a very straight forward job and he did a good job. I called him again to fix my upstairs unit which is older and required a bit finessing. Four months of sweltering heat and my A/C unit is still not working properly. During this time he actually showed his true colors. He wouldn't follow up on appointments in a timely manner, for example he would schedule my follow up two weeks out. I mean this is summer time, but you were working on this for months. His bills were padded (for example he charged me 25% more for freon than when I called and compared other companies. He also charges an $85 trip charge on top of his $85/hour rate.) My final straw was that he billed me in November for work he performed in May and I received the bill 10 months later in March of this year. Then rather than sending me back up to prove the charges weren't billed, he acted indignant. Run don't walk away. I had to call in another company to fix his mistakes.

This company is very courteous and professional. We used them before and were happy with their service. We contacted our home warranty company when we had another problem with our heat, they gave us a different contractor and he was terrible. We cancelled that company and requested Patuxent. The home warranty company contacted them that night and they called back first thing the next morning. We set up an appointment to meet that afternoon. They fixed out heat with no problems. Would recommend them and reuse them over and over again.
