Douglas High School is located in Box Elder, S.D., and offers classes to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers a wide range of subjects, such as language, art, social studies, science, computer and industrial technologies, music and physical education. It also provides before and after school educational and activities to students with special needs. The institution has various arts, language, music and drama, mathematics and science clubs. It also has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities and programs. Douglas High School s library houses a large collection of books on language, literature, science, history and mathematics, and also offers audiovisual reference materials, magazines, journals and teaching aids. In addition, it provides health care, meal, counseling, and transportation services to students, and also organizes field trips and cultural activities.
