I rented from one of their agents and was constantly asked to arrange my schedule to accommodate the needs of other tenants in the building. I was constantly called and/or texted by the agent for things like; other tenants being locked out, another tenant having a refrigerator delivered and any little problem with the building in general.



Rather than writing a check, or doing a bank transfer, I was required to deposit money directly into the owner's bank account. Originally, I was expected to deposit cash, but after the first year, I started depositing checks. This means that for 12 months, I would have to go to my bank, withdraw cash, travel to the owner's bank and make the deposit.



When I moved out, the owner was in the unit, cleaning and painting while I was removing the remainder of my things. I asked about my deposit, and was told that I would receive it in 5 days. The owner never mentioned any issues with anything in the unit when we had that conversation. When 5 days passed, and I didn't receive my deposit, I called and texted repeatedly for 3 days until I finally got an e-mail notifying me of damages and that I would not be getting all of my deposit back.



i would NEVER do business with this agent, or any company that employees this agent. Nor would I recommend anyone else do so. I have also talked to other tenants who feel the exact same way that I do.
