The Boynton Beach Public Works Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of all city-owned properties, including public buildings, streets, curbs and gutters, water mains, sewer lines, cemeteries, parks and a municipal airport. Additionally, it works to protect and maintain lakes, storm drains and wastewater collection systems within the city of Boynton Beach, Fla. The department also maintains sidewalks, street lights and road signs. Its beautification division focuses on landscaping and planting trees. Its engineering division performs capital project oversight, including design and construction and is also responsible for the technical review of all private development in the city.
