Crosspointe Elementary enrolls more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers academic instruction in reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies and science. The school additionally conducts music, fine arts, and health and physical education classes. Crosspointe Elementary offers an exceptional student education program that includes speech and language therapy services, as well as prekindergarten services for students with various disabilities. It also offers English Language Learners and English for Speakers of Other Languages programs. The school offers a counseling and guidance program that includes guidance lessons, development of effective study skills and consultation with parents, teachers and other professionals. Crosspointe Elementary has a technology club that teaches basic software steps for Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, as well as downloading techniques for digital cameras. In addition, the school s video club provides opportunities for students to produce morning news by using camcorders, mixers, mikes and monitors.
