I can't say enough good about Mike and Dora of RCS Construction. They are quality conscious builders who care about their customers and we were fortunate to find them to build our new Lake Gaston custom home. From the beginning of the project, Mike and Dora were on top of everything and it continued through the entire construction. Although we lived several states away, they made us feel like we were there as our home was built. They were dependable onsite and offered realistic suggestions throughout the process to ensure our house plans became our dream home. They communicated well and shared pictures with us regularly on progress (we had a Friday update each week). If you are looking for a trustworthy builder, we would highly recommend RCS Construction in Bracey, VA for any construction project. You won't be disappointed.

HORRIBLE, run the other way. We are at Lake Gaston and my neighbor's garage project is dragging on now for 7 months. We continue to have to view the construction porta potty in their front yard and the torn up yard. Heavy equipment had been stored there for days with no workers. Now my dog fell 10' thru the insulation of the incompleted upstaris floor. Glad it wasn't one of her grandkids. The weather has been great many days, and they never show. From what I understand they have now become non-responsvie. Take your money elsewhere, not worth the aggrivation. Their motto is all wrong....Let Your Nightmare Begin!!!!!!!!!

We contracted Mike Smith of RCS Construction, Inc., to do a 36 x 30 foot garage, replace shingles on a boathouse, outbuilding and home with a 16 x 12 front porch addition. We signed the contract on January 5, 2013, and we are about to go into August and the project is still not completed. My driveway and front yard has been torn up and in disarray. We have not been able to complete yard and planned landscaping projects because of this. If you like to hear excuses and lies this is your man!
