My husband and I were patients of Dr. Aldrich for 14 years before I obtained dental insurance. At that time I wrote him a letter stating the reason we were switching dentists. When the new dentist retired, the dentist who took over his practice said the tooth which had just lost its cap needed to be pulled and I could get a bridge or an implant inserted -- $$$$.



I called Dr. Aldrich's office and asked if he would give me a second opinion and the nurse said of course and set-up the appointment.

Dr. Aldrich examined the tooth and took x-rays. He then asked if I still had the original cap. I saidm "Yes." He left the decision to me; but, his recommendation was the tooth was healthy and he does not favor removing healthy teeth. For a couple hundred dollars he inserted and new post, re-shaped my crown and attached it again. Needless to say, five years ago we returned to him for all our dental needs.



Although he does not accept insurance - this is what keeps his prices lower -- his staff will file the claims on the patient's behalf.



In summary, if you are looking for a skilled dentist with great integrity we highly recommend trying Dr. Aldrich.
