My family and I go to the Golden Mine a couple of times a month. When I saw a deal on restaurant.com for $15 off of $30 at this restaurant, I couldn't pass it up. I bought 4! Being a week after christmas, we don't have much money. We decided to go to the Golden Mine for breakfast this morning, said coupon making it affordable for us to do so. When my husband went up to pay and presented our waitress with the coupon, the owner told her (our server) that he doesn't accept them. I took the coupon over to him myself and explained that this is still an active offer online, and that there's no reason he shouldn't honor it. (we purchased them on the 27th of december, today is january 3rd and they say they NEVER expire.) he was ADAMANT that they were not going to accept the offer. To the point that he had his finger in my face. He argued with me in front of a full restaurant.
I managed a restaurant for years. rule #1 - THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. THE GOLDEN MINE WILL NEVER SEE MY FAMILY AGAIN. I will be sure to tell everyone I know how this man treats paying customers
