Provided by YP.comWanted to do something nice for my wife and send her flowers at work for Valentine's Day. VDay was on a Sunday so I had the flowers delivered on Friday prior. Called and ordered a dozen pink roses (a dozen is 12 for those who don't know). I was told that it would cost $80. Gave them my credit card info to process the order. Wife got the flowers early in the day, so that was nice. She got to show them off all day and made me look good. However, my wife noticed that there was only 10 roses, of course she just figures I was just being cheep and in an attempt to save money I only ordered 10 roses. I called Braintree Flower Shop as soon as she told me, this was not until she arrived home with them at 6pm. I called the shop to complain and was offered to pick up the two missing roses. Um, not going to work. My wife already received them and I was not going to drive 45 miles to the flower shop. I requested that at a minimum I be refunded the cost for the 2 missing roses. I was told that would be done.... Next morning, it was a very sad day for the roses. 7 out of the 10 roses were already droopy, wilting and dying. I took pictures...Used one of the pics in this post. Not even 24 hours later and this.??? The flowers did not even make it to Valentine's Day!! I waited until after Valentine's Day to call back and complain as I figured the flower shop would probably be too busy to deal with my complaint. Monday afternoon, checked my credit card statement. Nothing appeared on my account; called back and spoke to the Manager. Told her how we were originally missing 2 roses and were told we were going to be refunded for the 2 missing roses. Also told her that the other 10 roses were dead by time Valentine's Day came...2 days later. I was told that it would be taken care of and that my card would be credited. Okay, sounds good. Checked my credit card a few days later. Much to my surprise, I was charged $90.50 and credited $12.60 for the two missing roses. Hmm, let's do the math...$90 - $12= $78...well that about what I was supposed to pay for 12 roses. $90.50/12= $7.54, $7.54 x 2 = $15.08. Interesting...I paid $80 for 10 dead roses. What a rip off. I'm very disappointed and hope that this post deters at least one person from doing business with Braintree Flower Shop. Happy Valentine's Day...better off sticking with chocolates or a teddy bear.
