Worse 3 days of my grandma's life!!!!! Deceiving. Unprofessional. Abusive. Negligent. Those are words to describe overall experience. Some special people working there though, but they are not the rule, rather the exception. Physical therapy is outstanding.

The staff there are unfriendly, a lot of patients in need and no one seems to be around. My mom hates it there. She was at Hawthorne 6 months ago and it was opposite, they were so kind and caring. They have a sign out front looking for help so maybe they are over worked.

I was a patient there from Dec. 2011 until June 26,2012. When i arrived, I was paralyzed from my hips down. My Neurologist told me i would never walk again. I got excellent care while there those 7 months and i WALKED out with the aid of a walker. Now 2015 i am walking unassisted because of the hard work of everyone most especially the Occupational Therapist and the Physical Therapist. They are the best! I now give back by visiting monthly with my certified therapy dog (retired greyhound) and giving encouragement. I would recommend BH&R to anyone, especially those needing physical therapy.

DO NOT and I mean DO NOT place your loved ones here. Nursing care is horrible. Patients are left filthy in the halls screaming out to nurses who won't listen and just ignore them. Never seen anything like it in my life. APPALLING!! CNA's are left doing all the work and are kind and caring. While the nurses are just there to administer drugs & sit around and complain about their poor overworked Admins. Physical Therapy on the other hand is excellent even exceptional. HOWEVER nursing is another story entirely.
