Provided by YPmobileWe were out to dinner and browsed the local shops and ventured into Creature Castle Brandon. The sweetest whiteface female cockatiel climbed up my son's arm and claimed him. Refusing to allow anyone to take her off him or near him. We left with our sweet Lilly and everything we needed to care for our new family member, but we aquired 1 of the most valuable resources we could ever get in the bird specialist Kim. With us never taking care of birds and being quite ignorant she took us under her wing, filling us with never ending knowledge, giving us confidence that we can give this beautiful cockatiel the best care and affectionate home. We are so happy when we decided to add a male we started visiting the shop often to find the right fit for us. Got everything we would need for our male before we found him and. A few months and there He was we fell instantly inlove with Eagle. Instantly attached we bought him, even though he was still hand feeding. Our poor baby got a little upper respitory infection (yes this happens birds get this ) while still in the shop and Kim came to his rescue. Her diligent care, affection and care has given us so much happiness to know our baby is so well cared for and well on his way to complete recovery. We are overjoyed that even though it has taken much longer for him to ween from formula, he is still pretty young, that soon we will be able to take Eagle home and he will be 100% recovered. we are forever greatful for everything being done. Eagle couldn't get better care at a vet hospital. We visit frequent and are always greeted with VIP treatment from all the staff, so I know long after we bring Eagle home any questions that may arise the answer is a phone call away thank you all so much for giving our baby such excellent care he's a part of our family and very important to us.

Provided by YP.comThis has to be one of the greatest disappointments in a pet store experience I've ever had the displeasure to witness. If you are looking for quality customer service, healthy pets, and knowledgeable staff LOOK ELSEWHERE! The first thing that hits you when you walk into this store is the smell, filthy enclosures and poor hygiene meet your nose as you walk in. The aquatics section isn't very large, with very limited selection, begging the question "Why are these tanks so dirty, and why are there so many dead fish?". Getting any useful help here is almost impossible as employees seem per-occupied, and uncaring, in this instance bad-mouthing another employee or management. Employees are ego-centric coming off with an "I know everything attitude" towards customers, and seemingly scoffing at their questions. Swearing can be heard from employees around the store, regardless if kids are present or not, extremely unprofessional and immature. I asked if they kept their diurnal reptiles under UV lighting and was told "The store owner wont pay for it" basically. I noticed hamsters were scarred from fighting, Ich on most of the fish selection, I overheard someone say a Cockatiel was missing a toe. Everything in this store is overpriced, at least 50% over what I can get the products I was looking for from other reputable dealers. Puppies looked to be obtained from a puppy-mill, and the enclosures of most of the animals I saw were laden with waste. If you make the mistake of purchasing here, be aware that refunds are not given, and you may only receive store credit. Don't take your debt/credit card if you're planning on spending less than $10, or you will be told grumpily by the cashier "I have a $10 minimum on cards". All these people care about is making a sale, welfare of animals, customer service, and professionalism all take a back seat. Please if you read this, don't support this store. This is one of the worst possible ways that a pet shop can be run, the manner of which they do business is deplorable, and the way they treat their animals could be considered by some to be animal cruelty.

Provided by YP.comI spent over $180 for a full turtle setup and two baby turtles (@ $20.00 each)...
One died a week later they replaced it for free, 5 weeks later the other one died so I went down there asking them to replace him also, that I had spent over $180 in their store and buy stuff for my dogs there all the time, not that it should be necessary to explain
any of that... Guy tells me "I can go 1/2 price but that's about it". Googled hatchling turtle prices and they come up as $0.85 a piece when > 100 are bought. So it would have "cost them" a $1 to make me happy..... I'll let you be the judge as to whether or not this would aggravate the crap out of you also. All this after I drove from Plant City to Brandon on Rte 60 in Sat. traffic.... Will NEVER go anywhere near there again TERRIBLE

Provided by YP.comCustomer Service is terrible and the place is fairly dirty. Hopefully they'll go out of business soon so a DECENT pet store can take their place.
