I went to skateland when I was a kid and loved it. It's an older place but all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Yeah, they only take cash but there is an atm. (I've been to other skate facilities in Florida and they only take cash, also.) I took my 6 year old daughter to the beginner's lesson and the woman who taught the lesson was wonderful! We had such a great time! :)

We frequent the place as our kids are into skating ,however the owner of this business is hot headed and tries to instigate fights with the young adult crowd. He got in my son's face simply because of questioning a ruling made about trick skating. Which is allowed by another mgr. It seems one manager allows it, he does not. He followed my son and tried to start a fight and the cop on duty had to tell this guy to back up.

We will not go back. Temperament is not customer friendly and quite honestly this guy is a bully with a major chip on his shoulder. Why he is working around kids is not clear. In this type of setting, he should reconsider his profession!

if i told my bestfriend i would tell her she could make new friends and have an amazeing night this place is great to come to to get away from home.
