The ladys here are very nice and very professional. I always like to go to a salon where there isnt any drama. They know how to give more than just great hair cuts.. They also know how to do color. My stylist Brittany is very professional and good with color. I went in there wanting some caramel highlights and left with exactly i wanted. She also cut my hair very well, it almost lastet 2 months. She does a great job as well as everybody else at Papa Zu. They girve military discounts also. $10 for any haircut if your in some type of military!!

There are stylists who oftentimes DO NOT know how to cut hair and then there are Barber/Stylists who can perform magic. This is the case with Papa Zu. As a military guy I have to keep the regulation cut on my head almost every week. I’ve been to some places around town where so called ‘stylists’ refuse to cut my hair because they quote/unquote, “Don’t know how.” I mean COME ON! I cut my hair myself sometimes at least try! They all say NO! NOT with Papa Zu—here the ladies are fun, energetic, and do a great job. I never make an appointment and they always take me right in. One of the ladies even tells me stories about her father being an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. They respect the military and have a sign out front to prove it. My high-n-tight has never looked so good. If you’re in the Metro Jackson area and you are a service member—go on over to Papa Zu and let the ladies over there pamper you. They even cut me a discount which I gladly pay back in a tip.
