Otter Valley Union High School, located in Brandon, Vt., serves students in grades seven through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 700 students and is the only school of the Otter Valley Union High School District. It offers a wide range of courses, including English, arts, foreign language, mathematics, science, social studies, special education, information technology, visual and performing arts, career education, and health and physical education classes. The high school provides a variety of sports activities that include basketball, wrestling and cross-country skiing. Otter Valley Union High School operates a Experiential High School that is based on a thematic approach of education that include reading, science and mathematics using the natural surroundings, local communities and exploring the common culture.
