The last of June 2016 i purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Within a couple of days after purchasing this car, brakes started to squeak. I waited a week or two to see if they would stop. They did not. I called Carmax and made an appointment to bring car in. Due to my work schedule, i couldn't make the appointment. Meanwhile brakes continued to squeak. I called and made another appointment. Now another 3 weeks has gone by. I finally take the car in. They tell me car needs front brake pads. Charged me 57.00. Told me they had to order brake pads and it would be another 170.00 to put them on. What kind of mess is this? First of all, my car was dropped off and left over night. So im guessing all day, they couldn't just buy some brake pads and put on my car. Bad business. I haven't even put 1000 miles on car. I work 5 miles away from home. Anyway its more than obvious that they sold me a car that needed brake pads. I will never come back to this carmax again. Try Woodbridge Va.
