In 1987, our founder, Donna Lombardi, first opened the doors to Steppin' Out. Miss Donna was a former Rockette, and an instructor at Betsy Ross Arts Magnet School in New Haven. Miss Donna was committed to providing her students with a complete and technical dance education. Believing in the art of dance, Steppin' Out was founded as a non-competitive studio focused on our annual dance performance. Our staff remains dedicated to continuing Miss Donna's legacy of not only teaching the steps, but teaching a love for dance. As a technique centered studio, we strive to ensure challenging classes, along with exciting choreography that sets our studio apart from the rest. Each staff member is a former student of Miss Donna, and we believe we "learned from the best." We take pride in our student's progress, and have a complete curriculum for each age level and dance style. Conveniently located in Branford, CT, Steppin' Out offers classes for ages 2 through adult in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and acrobatics. We also offer a Mommy-and-Me class for ages 2 and under
