Founded in 1953 by Lester H. Walter, our first electrical supply store location shared space with a quilt supply store. As the company grew, Lester moved the business to a larger space in Long Beach until the construction of the 405 freeway forced another move to Rancho Dominguez, formerly our Compton location, which currently stands as Walters oldest branch.
