Based in Frisco, Colo., Summit High School serves more than 850 students in grades nine through 12 and is operated by the Summit School District. It offers a variety of academic courses, including English, technology education, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign languages, fine arts, and physical and health education. The high school provides a wide variety of facilities and services, such as transportation, a library, cafeteria, health screenings, counseling, lockers, laboratories and playing fields. It offers various student clubs and organizations, including the National Honor Society, and drama, speech and debate clubs. The high school counselors offer a variety of services to students, such as academic and crisis intervention counseling, scholarship information, career guidance, college visits, and postsecondary education and training guidance. Summit High School is approved by the Colorado Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and High Schools.
