A concerning and bizarre encounter with one of the Larsen owners. I grew up in Independence and currently reside there with my family. I work as a nurse and on my days off I enjoy being creative by doing projects around my home. I enjoy exploring the latest options and ideas to add that design touch and uniqueness. I was referred to Larson Lumber by a contractor who had wonderful things to say about their products. I went to Larsen Lumber looking to do a wall with flooring as an accent in my sons room. Only one of many projects to come, including a deck and first floor wood flooring. I asked a gentlemen if he could help me, He began helping me and then just stopped!? He asked me my name. After I answered, he replied that he was unable to help me. I asked "why?" He stated he was "busy". I am not sure what happened? Why didn't he ask a sales person to help me? I asked him his last name, he smugly answered "Larsen." I left there in tears!
