I would like to start this review off by saying that I love to support local business as it helps our community..so I was convinced by the owner Cindy to give her a try on my hair. She offered a reasonable price for a cut and highlight so I went ahead and allowed for the nightmare to begin. First of all she was completely unprofessional the entire time she spent talking on her phone or to her friend who she had visiting her shop. Now don't get me wrong I don't mind an occasional personal phone call but when you hear the individual on speaker clearly arguing (not in English) with your stylist it makes you a bit squeamish! She then proceeded to tell me she had to dye my entire hair to then add highlights...this has never been done or told to me by any other stylist EVER...so I refused the full head color and advised her only to do the highlights. When she came back to apply the highlights she handed me a dirty plastic bin full of cut tin foil and directed me to place a piece of tin foil over a plastic board she had in the dirty bin and hand them to her as she worked through my hair. She did not seem to have any method to what she was doing and before I knew it we were off to the dryer to have the color set. She came to me about ten minutes into being under the dryer and began to apply additional color to my roots. I assumed she knew what she was doing as she did go to school for this. After the reapplication she put me under the dryer again, as the dye ran down the sides of my face I began to regret the fact that I came here! She then began to cut her friends hair which was a bit strange considering she should have been paying attention to my color. Well when she finally moved me to the sink area it didn't get better she washed my hair under cold water and then guided me to e stylist chair...that's when she handed me a brush and told me to brush out my own hair.

When my hair was dry and I was done I looked in the mirror in utter horror....never in my life had I had such a horrid color job!!!!!!! I left thinking maybe I should give it a day and it would tone down...ha fat chance it got worse the next morning I arose washed my hair and noticed I had a white and orange scalp!!!! I went to my usual salon where my stylist had just returned from vacation to seek advice..she told me she would need to redo it. She was horrified when she looked through my hair and said a good stylist would give me my money back....so I went to Cindy hoping the best and praying if she saw my orange and white creamsicle scalp she would feel bad and return my money so I could get it fixed. Instead she yelled at me and placed the blame on the color of my hair, then as one of her patrons came in she continued to yell at me and call me a bad person!!!



What happened to taking responsibility for making mistakes and caring for the customer... I wouldn't recommend this stylist to a DOG!
