I recently spent the weekend at a TICA Cat Show at Long Island Pet Expo at the Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood, NY. On Friday afternoon when I was on the LIE my charging light on the dash started to blink. I got to the Cat Show and unloaded my stuff. Stopped at the first garage I saw which was JLR Auto Repair behind the Mobil on Wicks Road. The owner, Joel, was very cool and said he could take care of me. Dropped my truck off at 8:00 AM Saturday morning and picked it up a few hours later after they installed a new alternator. Price was very reasonable as well. Things could have turned out a lot worse - stranded on side of road, no repair places open on Saturday, garage could of taken advantage of an out-of-towner, etc. But, none of that happened, and JLR Auto Repair did a bang up job for a reasonable price. If I lived in the area I'd definitely go back. That said, I'd highly recommend Joel and JLR Auto Repair to anyone in the Brentwood, NY area. Honest, decent and fair, what more could you ask for in a business. Cheers to JLR Auto Repair who took care of me in a pinch!
