Hidden Gem and Great Value In Brentwood

Maybe not luxurious by some standards, but very nice, if you don't mind staying out of the way, "under the bridge" (not literally). Easy access off I-65; right there at the exit onto Old Hickory.Very nice rooms, peaceful and quiet; clean and modern. A good-quality breakfast selection was provided adn I found no fault with it. I stay there when visiting our office in the area, and it is always a pleasure. I can walk across the street to the rather upscale strip mall anchored by a very nice Target (with a Starbuck's inside), for shop-tainment and there is a Lonestar restaurant and a Waffle House within a short walk. The shopping in Cool Springs and Franklin is just a few minutes' drive south on I-65.

Caveat: if you get a ground-floor room, the air conditioning unit outside might bother you; doesn't bother me at all.

We get a great rate, considering the area and the quality of the property; I'm not sure what retail is.
