Brentwood Middle School, established in 1972, has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. The school operates a guidance department that offers a comprehensive guidance program for students and teachers. The school maintains a special support staff that includes speech, language and occupational therapists and a school psychologist, as well as teachers for special education and the English as a Second Language program. Brentwood Middle School offers a range of sports activities, such as cross country, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, track and field, tennis and cheerleading. In addition, the school organizes spelling bee competitions and supports band, math and drama clubs. Brentwood Middle School offers a physical education program that promotes fitness, social, team and individual skills. Brentwood Middle School is a part of Williamson County Schools and is located in Brentwood, Tenn.
