Franklin Industrial Minerals is an operating division of Franklin Industries, a privately owned Tennessee corporation headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. Founded in 1910 as Franklin Limestone Company in 1910, Franklin Industrial Minerals has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of industrial and agricultural minerals in the United States. The company operates several mining and processing facilities, located in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Crushed and ground limestone is produced at these locations from underground, underwater and open pit mines.
