I just got my first tattoo from Amber Opal at Looking Glass Tattoo and I couldn't be happier. Amber is an amazing and incredibly talented artist.



My experience:

I gave Amber a few pictures and a basic idea of what I wanted and she nailed the drawing perfectly on the first shot.



I sat for about 7 hours and we got through it in one shot. Amber was very friendly, focused and always made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. The shop itself is very clean and everyone there was welcoming. I felt comfortable the second I walked in to Looking Glass.



The tattoo itself is incredible. The detail and shading are outstanding and Amber's little touches make it stand out.



I cant see myself going anywhere else.

I searched long and hard for an artist I could trust with the design of my fourth tattoo. And after a couple failed attempts at translating my vision onto paper, the Internet gods eventually led me to Amber Opal. Without even meeting me, she nailed it. Not only did she draw up exactly what I had in mind (with just a couple vague photos for reference, as the tattoo is one-of-a-kind), but she also got my style down. It was almost as if she could read my mind. She was so down to earth, friendly and accommodating, and made me feel right at home -- a feeling the shop exudes naturally. Amber is -- hands down -- the best artist I know. Natural-born talent. I want to get more tattoos just so I can go back to see her! I already have recommended her to all my family and friends, so now, all you review readers can take my advice, too. :)

Place was great. Cleanest tattoo shop I ever seen with the most professional tattoo artists. Artists are original and very creative. I personally worked with CJ but everyone else seemed to be just as good.

I have been a fan of Amber's paintings and have purchased them over the years. The depth of her strokes and her use of color is similar to Vincent Van Gogh. When she uses the body as a canvas, it brings the 3D art to legendary levels. I want to hang people with her work on them on my walls honestly. She is one of the greatest artists of our generation.

By far the nicest atmosphere and the friendliest people i've ever encountered in a tattoo parlor. Not to mention easily the most talented artist who has ever injected ink into my skin. Amber patiently helped me design my tats (i can be a bit indecisive), she simply did an outstanding job. Thanks so much guys!

This place is great...ultra clean and comfortable. Amber is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and super talented. She did a portrait of my dog and it is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended.

Sometimes, going in to a tattoo shop can be a little scary and overwhelming...but not at Looking Glass! Never in my life have I seen a tattoo shop like this. It looks more like a salon than the gritty grimy tattoo shops I'm used to. The shop is very welcoming: open and airy with tons of natural light. In fact, if you get work done with Amber (the cute blond smiling behind the counter), you will find yourself relaxing in a beautiful atrium. What shop has that?! Going to Looking Glass was the best tattoo experience I've had. Amber is exceptionally talented and works with you to make sure your tattoo is a work of art. I have recommended this place to my friends and they've all had great work done. In fact I'm taking my mom for her 65th birthday this weekend!
