The Pizza Place is the perfect place for low key pizza, pasta dishes and perfect for kids. This tiny little non-descript restaurant on Montuak Highway is like a sigh of relief from the other hoity, toity places in the Hamptons. There are no reservations, no high heels and million dollar handbags at the Pizza Place but rather, ripped shorts, flip flops and people looking for a quick, tasty, inexpensive bite. You simply walk in and order from the guy making the pizzas. Then, you take your food to your seat and eat. There's no waitstaff and you help yourself with bottled drinks. If you sit in the back room, you'll experience a pleasant array of old musical instruments displayed on the wall. The owner will usually greet you to say hello. The pizza is fantastic-- not too greasy or too cheesy as are all the pasta dishes too. This restaurant serves tasty Italian food so don't expect tasty salads or amazing vegetable dishes unless of course, you want Eggplant Parmigiana. This is a must for those looking for a quick, affordable dining experience in the craziness of the Hamptons. Oh, and remember, no credit cards...cash only!
