EmailAction for Bridgeport Community Development, also known as ABCD, is a nonprofit antipoverty agency. Established in 1964, the agency identifies and eliminates the causes of poverty. It serves more than 35,000 individuals annually. The agency s early learning division conducts Head Start, Early Head Start, School Readiness and State Child Day Care programs. It offers a variety of health, social, and educational activities for more than 400 children. The agency conducts the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program to help eligible households pay their winter heating bills. It offers several after-school programs for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Action for Bridgeport Community Development also operates weatherization and family services divisions.

Provided by YP.comWe had a horrible experience, Avoid this program. The school is flawed from the top down. The school is riddled with poor communicators, who are unwilling to accept supports and outside intervention and is run by a bully administration. Nothing about this program provides children with a positive learning experience. Avoid this at all cost!
