I love my hair, we had a misunderstanding about the $100 dollar coupon, but she explained that her web designer should have deleted the coupon as it was expired, but she still took off $20 off of my hair style.

I am a regular customer, and Leti is always nice and does my hair just the way I want it. I always bring my hair cause she does not offer hair.

This place deserves one star because the service is very poor. Before I went into the salon I explained to the Leti(the stylist and owner) exactly what I wanted done(Rope twists). She told me that the hair would be included and told me that if I came that same day(a Monday) I could use the coupon which would give me the hair style for $100 instead of the usual price of $150. On the website, she also has another coupon which gives new customers 10% off but obviously the "Monday coupon" would give me the bigger discount so that's the one we agreed on.



When I arrived to the shop, I reminded her what I wanted at which time she informed me that the hair was not included in the price. She said I would need to purchase the hair separately. She said the hair would cost $25 dollars and I gave her $40 to purchase the hair for me and she came back and told me the hair was $30, so I knew she stole $5 which I didn't make a deal about. After she started my hair she told me she could not give me a discount because I wanted the twists to be longer than usual and bla bla bla. She also informed me that she had to hurry up and do my hair because she had an appointment at the hospital at 2pm. As 2pm approached and she was almost finished with my twists, she told me that she was not going to cancel her appointment and she was going to leave and I had to leave as well and wait in my car for two hours for her to return.



I finally agreed to let her go to her appointment(foolishly). She told me, "before I go, you have to pay me." and I told her I wouldn't do that because my hair was not finished. I gave her some of the money and told her that upon her return she would receive the rest. She was upset that I would not pay her in full for the unfinished work she had done. She came back after an hour and half and finished my hair.



In addition to her unprofessionalism, she does not practice cleanliness. She uses the same comb without washing in between clients. She also used her hand to sweep trash in a dust pan and did not see it necessary to wash her hands. In addition, she kept on touching the bottom of her son's shoes and putting it back in my hair.



Finally, what everyone wants to know, "how did the hair turn out?" She did a decent job, but I wouldn't recommend dealing with everything I went through for a mediocre hairstyle.



a $100 hairstyle turned into $185(including the $5 she stole) hairstyle. I will not return to her salon as a customer nor will I ever recommend her to anyone else. She is dishonest, unclean, and unprofessional. If I could give her zero stars I would.
