Never too busy or crowded, never any staff volunteering to help me out. Much less offering up a smile. Not as important as few shoppers good selection and wide isles . Try saying that about Dollar General. Fred's products are as good as Equate at Wal-Mart.

Freds in Bridgeport is a fun p...

Freds in Bridgeport is a fun place to shop everyone on staff there is friendly and always makes you feel at home. There is not a problem at all with the employees there as far as employee to customer contact.



The lower rating I gave the store was due to the in store arrangement. The store was re-vamped not to long ago and to me this made getting around and finding things much...MUCH harder. The isles are to crowded and the display tables and the way the store modular has them arranged is very hard to shop. It looks more like a bargain basement type store than a department store.



The store is always pretty well stocked however and they carry many things that the dollar stores do not which is great!
