The Devereux New Jersey Center for Autism is apart of Devereux, which is a nonprofit organization that offers services to people with emotional, developmental and educational disabilities. Located in Bridgeton, N.J., the Devereux New Jersey Center offers a range of vocational and educational programs. Its therapeutic services include psychological and behavioral support, speech, language, physical and occupational therapy. The center also maintains community-based homes and apartments for individuals ranging in age from 6 years to adulthood. Additionally, it provides training to parents and conducts several workshops including applied behavior analysis, positive behavior support, autism spectrum disorders and picture exchange communication.
