Phillis Wheatley Middle School offers an academic curriculum with several core subject areas, such as English, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, it offers exploration classes in art, music, Spanish, computers, career education, study skills, performing arts, college education, and health and physical education. The school also provides athletic, musical and club-related extracurricular opportunities for students. Phillis Wheatley Middle School serves students in grades five through eight and has its campus in Bridgeville, Del. The middle school is operated by the Woodbridge School District, which serves more than 2,000 students.
