Ordered the pork spears or whatever it was that was pictured on the menu on top of red skin mashed potatoes and gravy. The food barely resembled the picture. In the picture the meat had a nice char on in and was colorful. The meat I received was more like a grey color like it had been boiled not grilled. The meat was advertised as fall from the bone. I had to use utensils to get the meat off. I had a few bites but it just looked unappetizing. The mashed potatoes were almost baked into a shape that had somewhat of film to it like they had sat in the oven too long. The gravy was sour and just didn't taste like any homemade gravy I've ever eaten. I sent it back. I then ordered the Chicken Velvet Soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. What sold me was the sandwich was on Russian rye bread. The soup was basically a disappointment and the grilled cheese was passable but I could make a better sandwich at home. The bread didn't even taste like rye bread in the least so I was just left disappointed. We did have a glass of the Nut Roll beer and that seemed alright. Otherwise the visit was a disappointment and a waste of money for the experience all together and it made us late for our next appointment. I will not go there again.
