TD BANK, Milltown Rd Bridgewater, NJ (not good) review::

1) The teller at this TD bank branch incorrectly deposited my son's deposit into a custodial savings account. The bank rules dictate that ONLY the custodian may deposit or withdraw from a custodial account. TD Bank corporate customer service informed my about this fact..

2) My son is a college student who makes about $5.00 an hour delivering pizza in the snow and ice.

3) TD Bank hit his student checking account with $235.00 in overdraft fees as a result of their error. The kid needs to work over 40 hours to make that much money. He uses the account to buy books and $4.00 lunches.

4) The local bank officers flatly refused to refund the fees, in fact they were extremely RUDE and THREATENED me,

5) TD Bank corporate customer service said their bank was wrong but they could only refund $70.00 of the $235.00 because of their internal limitations. This customer service person was very nice BUT I was on hold for a good half hour to get the $70.00. Even though she agreed it was a bank error, it seemed she had to fight her management to get the $70.00.

5) Now I have an appointment with the Branch Mgr, who was on vacation, to go thru the whole thing again. This will be our families 3rd visit to this bank for this 1 issue.

The local bank officers (2 of them) used arrogance and threats to deal with what should have been a routine customer concern.

The bank would rather cheat a college student out of $235.00 to satisfy an apparent corporate policy than be a responsible corporation. To make matters worse they use arrogance and threats to keep their stolen fees.

MAN, I should not be surprised. Now I must convince my son to be a responsible person.
