I really want to say that the people that run this park are A-1 by me. I have been very impressed with the human understanding that the manager and her employees exhibit in their jobs. They sound rough at first but if you have experience in what goes on in RV parks that Managers etc have to go through with some renters then you would understand what in reality is going on. She vets people but if you are patient she really is a diamond in the rough. Don't be scared and she comes through when you are at the end of your options. 5 stars

I live at and love Barr Lake RV Park and their team. Good neighbors, good facilities, and the mintenance team helped me with a problem. Couldn't ask for a better place to live in our RV!

I just recently moved into the park and i must say it is 1 of the best parks in the denver area.whom ever put the bad reviews is way wrong.This park is very clean ,safe,quiet and management and employees are great.I highly recommend to anyone! Come see for yourself

Don't even know where to start! If you want to stay in a place where nothing works properly then this is the place for you. Usually there is at least one washer on the fritz, and there is only four to start with. There is always something wrong with the water. If you go a full week without getting the water shut off for one reason or another you best celebrate, because it doesn't happen very often. The cleanliness of things is something that leaves a lot to be desired, as well. If you take a shower in the shower houses I would recommend taking your own cleaning supplies with you too clean the shower before you use it. Or at the very least DO NOT touch the shower curtains, they are slimy and filthy to the point of sticking together. And the stench is something else, you may want some nose plugs.As for the quality of people staying there, truly not too bad. There are some questionable ones, but for the most part there are lots of working men who mind there own business. Stayed there for close to 6 months and never had any trouble with theft or vandalism. I've stayed in worse places but also stayed inconsiderably better, cleaner places.

This saddens me to see what two people have put on here.I live in the park and have for sometime. BOTH OF YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID YOUR RENT.The management is excellent and there are no drugs or thief's in this park with the exception of these two people in which my guess is management had them leave.for not paying and they have the nerve to say there rent was taken maybe they can provide these paper written reciepts.Come on a receipt is a receipt. I'm sure other people can see through the lies of these two people.Once again this is a very nice park with exceptional management. Maintenance is another issue that they are lacking in!!!

This is the worst rv park I have ever been to I can say the management extremely bad... there are drug deal's going on in the management house eligal trailer repos and when you pay your rent they put the money in there pocket and then say you didn't pay your rent and as the do hand written receipt you have nothing to stand by so if you see this park run far away from it or you may be caught up in there conspiracy......

Just to let everyone know, I went to use the laundry room at this park and it is hideous..whoever cleans the laundry room should take more pride and keep it clean right.and the people who uses it must all be pigs, it was the dirtiest place ever. Cleaning lady, please clean at night so at least it is clean during the day, I do my laundry during the later mornings and it is always nasty and dirty. And to the people who uses it, have some pride, the management go out of their way to have this service for you, the least you could do is keep it clean even though you probably are used to living in filth.

My husband and I stayed at Barr Lake RV park, the park is very unkept with tree branches and weeds all over the place, some of the people in the park look very trashy as well as the rv sites, it seems the management does not have the upper hand as far as who they give the sites too, but I guess this happens when you rent sites to long-timers. Seriously, I feel the managers should take a walk around the sites and give notices to all the RVers who have unkept sites and there are lots of them. Also, I don't mind dogs, we have a small dog, but we pick up our dog poop, we saw a few people who just let their dog poop and they didn't even pick it up..This is disgusting, you can bring this up to the office but nothing was done about it. All I can say is TRASHY, TRASHY, TRASHY!!!!! we will not be coming back,

All I can say is love the 2 ladies in the office, especially the manager she is very helpful and always courteous. Now, I must elaborate on the appearance of the RV Park, if you were just a passerby-er, you would probably said "Wow, look at that run down RV park", within reason though, anyway, we have requested the lights be replaced in the sights, but as of today they have not been even looked at by the lazy maintenance man, we still have branches on our RV roof, why haven't the trees been cut back, another thing is there are sites with junk all around them why hasn't anyone addressed that issue, but of course there response will be if you don"t like it here then move, typical answer I would say, and there are dogs running around the park without leashes, very scary if you get bit by one. I feel the office management should be a little more stricter when it comes to the dogs.. the laundry room is always dirty and the washes only work half of the time. Just a few things observed.

Long term renter, mostly happy here. This month rent went up, I get why but some suggestions! Give Kathy a raise, she runs this park fantasticly & helps everyone do their jobs, from the general management, the office help, to the maintenance. Without Kathy this park would be a complete mess!!! Hire a much better maintenance man that can & will do his job. Lots should be kept up like weeds & trimming. You hire other people to fix pipes, wiring, mow grass, trim trees, why not just hire a man or two that can do their damn job right! Care more about the good people here that pay their rent & don't cause issues or problems! Your full & turning people away, why tolerate anything but good tenants? Fix the roads, shoveling gravel everywhere is not helping infact making things worse for others! Think about getting more washiers & dryers, 4 of each for all these RV's really?!

We have been here just a bit over 2 years now, love it here. Great area, close to everything, mostly quiet, mostly clean. Love Kathy, office manager, she is proffessional, helpful, knowledgable & does a great job. The other office lady is very sweet but not much help, Kathy does everything! Maintenance is a whole other issue, very poor! Not much is done, need another man or a few, it would be a great park if things would get done better & faster. Not sure the general manager cares enough to make this a great park, little interest is shown there as well as maitenance. The rent is fair but has just increased this month, hope to see that it is going to improve the parks appearance! Its been a nice home but could be a great one with a bit more effort!

We have been here at the RV park for some time now, and have never seen it look this horrible. Maintenance is a joke at this RV park, drives around all day visiting with RVers, when he is supposed to be working, not professionally dressed, wears the same muscle shirt and shorts everyday, literally looks like a bum and stinks of alcohol. We used to have a maintenance man who did everything, this one doesn't do anything, I guess his job is being outsourced because we see another company come in and do all his work, so why is "HERE"?? when asked about the branches being trimmed on the trees, we saw that only a few was cutback, what about all the others, the regional manager seems to not give a care either he if he did, the park would look like it did awhile back in the day. "HIRE ANOTHER MAINTENANCE MAN"

We have had several windy days lately where we sit in our camper and listen to the dead tree branches fall on our camper and watch the tumble weeds blow through the park. All the tree branches and tumble weeds stay scattered all over the park for days and days before a few (the bigger ones) finally get picked up. I'm so sick of picking up tumble weeds and tree branches around our camper. If the maintenance man would spend less time in the bathrooms and driving around trying to look busy maybe he could do something productive for this park!

My family of 6 (including 3 children and our golden retriever) lived a the Barr Lake RV Park for 15 months and we LOVED IT!!! would still be there if we could but our family had just out grown living in a trailer :( the staff was always sweet and helpful. The Manager was the best (landlord) I have EVER!! had always willing to help in anyway she could. We Loved living there and will continue to recommend it and visit whenever we can :)

Something really needs to be done about the so called maintenance man at Barr Lake RV park, he is rude and not at all helpful.. We live in the park and now that it is winter and snow and ice everywhere, he is doing absolutely NOTHING about trying to de-ice or shovel the snow in front of the office, I went over to the office and almost fell on the ice, DOES THF WANT A LAWSUIT? If not, put some fire underneath the maintenance man "A** to get him motivated to do something about this before it is to late, all we see him do is play around the bathrooms and drive around in his truck..DO SOMETHING PLEASE!!!!

This is a great place to stay!! They have a wonderful play area for children. The manager is terrific! We stayed 8 mos. As far as sketchy long term residents..??? No idea what that's about. You would have to be a busy body to say that because park is quite and people usually keep to themselves.

I would definitely recommend this RV park for RV travelers, the manager went out of her way to fit us in the right space in spite of the full time RVers, as we were travelling and wanted to see a few sites in the Denver area, when asked about directions she was quickly to help and very knowledgeable in this area. Thank you, to the Manager! The only problem we saw was dogs in the park without leashes, as in the rules it stated that all dogs needed to be on a leash, even though the owners may say the dog is friendly, I had a bad experience involving this, so, I have a tendency to be very cautious, again I want to thank the manager for all her help, we will be next summer.

My husband and I stayed at the Barr Lake RV Park for about a month, and upon our arrival we were treated with professionalism and politeness from the park Manager and found her to be very knowledgeable and acted in a very professional manner, each time we went into the office we were greeted with kindness, and never experienced her to be RUDE. I do not have anything bad to say about the office management, but it appears to me that the so called maintenance man can use some help with his appearance, all we saw him do in the short time we were there was drive around the park grounds and water the grass in the heat of the day, there were a few times when wind storms came through, we had to go and pick up the fallen branches and we had to pull weeds from around our coach, I guess he was not working this day, (Wednesday).. He smelled of alcohol one day we were in the office, it appears to me his boss needs to spend a few hours around the grounds though, it may make a difference.(Just Sayin)
