Don't waste Your Money or Time

I needed to buy a brand new set of tires for my wife’s daily driver and since I have worked with Brighton Tires & Wheels before they were my first stop. Upon getting a reasonable quote for a brand new set of tires and alignment I agreed to the work. I noticed that they were running a special on Brake replacement so I also authorized them to add that to the list of services to be performed.First Trip: I dropped my wife’s car off in morning and later that afternoon I called and was told that the car was ready to pick up. Upon getting there I was told that they didn’t have the time to do the brakes and I would have to bring the car back the next day. Upon driving the car back home I noticed that the alignment was off as well as the TPMS light was on, since I was bringing the car back to do the brakes the next day I would just inform them at that time about the alignment and the TPMS light. Second Trip: Once again I dropped the car off in the morning and I had informed them that the alignment was off and that the TPMS light was on and they agreed to have both of those things done as well as the brakes. Later that afternoon I was called and told that the car was ready to pick up. Upon arrival I noticed that the TPMS Light was still on and upon asking about it they came out and cleared the light off. Upon paying for the Brake Replacement they said that they had replaced the rotors as well and charged me accordingly, even though I never received a call informing me that they needed replacement or authorizing them to do the replacement. I paid the bill in full (almost $200 more than what was originally quoted) and went on my way. While driving home I notice a heinous grinding coming from the front brakes. I called them once I got home and was told that I would need to bring it back Monday. Third Trip: After leaving the car over the weekend I noticed that the back passenger tire was about 20lbs low on air, another thing to bring to their attention. I dropped the car off in the morning and went to work. After leaving work for the day I called them and they said that everything was done and I could pick up the car. Upon picking up the car they had told me that they replaced the brakes again and could not find anything wrong with the tire that was loosing air. They then proceeded to tell me to drive the car and keep an eye on it because it was probably just the tire starting to get broke in. Fourth and Final Trip: After a couple weeks of driving the car and adding on average 15-25lbs of air to the same tire every 3 days my wife finally brought the car back to Brighton Tires & Wheels. They did locate the leak which was the Valve Stem/Sensor. They preceded to inform her it would be $70 to replace the Stem/Sensor, needless to say she took the car home and informed me of what the problem was. We had never had any issue with the stem or Sensor until they replaced the tire. I immediately called and spoke with the owner and he told me that he was not responsible and if I wanted to replace it he would charge the $70.I had my wife call Discount Tires in Brighton (Bromley) to get a price on replacing the sensor, they told her to bring it in and they would check it out at no cost. They replaced the individual part that was needed, which had a cost of $5 for free and explained to her that when you get new tires that the sensors usually get rebuilt and that’s included in the initial cost of the tires. Even though Brighton Tires & Wheels would not live up to their responsibility as well as living up to a good business practice, Discount tires replaced the part for free and sent my wife on her way. I personally believe that this was Brighton Tires & Wheels responsibility to take care of and after talking with them I have come to the conclusion ...

Great place for tires new and used

Friendly service. Both new and used tires at a great price. If you need one or two used tires to get you by or just want to save some money this is the place to go.
