Steve has just finished up our 4th project with him over the last 6 years. He built our custom home six years ago, 3 years ago he finished our basement and just recently, he finished a new sun room addition. We did extensive research on all builders in the area and extensive research on Steve Belanger and his company. We found that Steve has been in the community building for over 30 years. In those 30 years, he hasn't had one recorded complaint- not with the building department- not with the better business bureau- not the the NAHB. He is current on all his designations and up to date on all the current technologies and products. We checked several references (15 to be exact) from past customers and heard nothing but great recommendations to use Belanger Builders. We chose to use Steve and couldn't be happier! From start to finish, everything was smooth. His honesty and quality work sets him apart from his competition. Our house was finished before the promised date and the whole process was smooth and painless. We had Steve's personal cell phone number and could call him at any time with any need. Steve was on our job site daily and demanded quality work from all involved. Because of this experience with our home- we have recommended him to friends- who have also used him for home projects and speak very highly of him. Of course, he was our natural choice for our other needs as well. Before you pick a builder- do your homework! Check all avenues- do just read reviews that anyone can type on search engines- check with the NAHB and better business bureau- check with local building supply companies and see if they have any comments or customers with information about the builders- just ask around the area - and if you are asking in Livingston County- you will hear nothing but good review about Belanger Builders Inc.
