If you want doctors that literally appear to have an alarm set to monitor that they do not spend one extra minute with you this is the place to go. Never once in the years I have been going to this facility have they been able to note on my charts that due to allergies I must have my prescriptions Dispense As Written. If you call at 8:00 a.m. for information or a complicated prescription refill thye will wait until 5 minutes to 5 to get back with you, only to let you know they can not help you. The last time I was treated here I repeatedly told the Doctor my stomach was really hurting. She told me it was hurting because of my cough. I explained I rarely have problems with my stomach but she insisted it was just a byproduct of my very bad cough and cold. I did not even make it home from the Doctors office and I was vomiting. This is really unusual because I have not done that in at least 5 years or longer. I ended up in the hospital dehydrated and diagnosed with colitis. I guess treating me for more than one problem was out of the doctors time limit. They are not helpful or caring. People go to the doctor because they are sick and need help. Sick people are not usually cheerful you think a Doctors office would understand this and have some empathy. Not here if you need more than a blood pressure check and your original prescription rewritten do not take your life into your own hands or should I say trust it to these doctors. I unfortunately have a varity of health issues and U of M Brighton Health Center has gone out of thier way to make it clear to me I am too much work. Save your health find another doctor.
