On Friday April 10, 2015, I went into Brighton Urgent Care. i was seen by the staff doctor and he diagnosed me with a respiratory infection and bronchitis. He prescribed me an antibiotic. This diagnosis was solely based on my symptoms, no tests were given. On Saturday morning I woke up feeling much worse and I was unable to get out of bed. i was unable to go to work and was miserable all weekend. This is while I am taking an antibiotic. I should have been feeling better after 24-48 hours. This was not the case. On Monday morning, my wife called my doctor and I was seen by him that day. He performed some tests and diagnosed me with the flu. He prescribed Tamiflu and by Tuesday I was already feeling much better. I informed Brighton Urgent Care about this misdiagnosis and also wrote to their main office. It took several weeks before I received a response. I asked that Brighton Urgent Care waive my co-payment for services due to my experience. When I finally received a response I was given a generic response indicating that the diagnosis has room for error. I informed Brighton Urgent Care that i will never use their clinic again.

Provided by YPmobileIf I could give negative stars I would. This urgent care is open 7 days a week, from 8am-10pm. We pulled into the parking lot at 8:30pm to a lot with maybe 3 cars and went into the urgent care office where nobody was seated, then was told it would be an hour and a half wait. So we told the women at the desk that we would wait, (I was coming in because I had extreme discomfort in my right foot to the point where it was gettinf difficult to put a shoe on and to walk on it, all I really wanted was to get some answers on my foot and then go to a doctor the following day to get further treatment) anyways after we said we would wait she told us that they close at 10 and implying that the wait time would be when they close and we still said we would like to wait for someone to look at my foot. after asking for insurance she asks what's wrong and I told her, not even halfway through talking she talks over and begins telling us to go down the street or to another office that could really help me, she said all they could do there was look at the foot and tell me to take motrin and that was all they could do. Still at this point she has avoided collecting names or any other information about us and continuously repeats that we shouldnt go to them and go somewhere else. As an urgent care you would think they would want to help as best as they could for the patient or just even to relieve the pain in anyway till I could get in to see a doctor. Ive never had this experience before and cannot believe I was turned away because all the women at the desk could do for me is say "They can give you a crappy air cast and some crutches and tell you to take some motrin but thats all we can do" that is word for word what she said. All in all I am EXTREMLY disappointed in the way she handled things and how rude she was.
