I paid LOTS of money for not getting what I asked for, I will NEVER go there again.
The place is overpriced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First things first this salon has prices that would insinuate it is a "high end " salon... I was paying 170 dollars before tip to get my hair done by a stylist who only had her licenses for 2 years ... The color was good but the cut was just worthy of a borics hair cut... I had already booked an appointment for my wedding party to get their hair and make up done there. I had set up for 10 girls to get their hair and makeup done... On the day of my wedding I was informed that the lady doing our make up was using the airbrush for the first time!! My hair looked awful my makeup looked awful. To the point where I sat in the chair and re did all of my makeup while she finished the rest of the girls,which was equally as awful. On my wedding day... We were rushed in and out... The owner was very rude about the groupon we bought months in advance..and already paid a deposit for ... I would never recommend this place... You are better off going to a Walmart hair salon and getting the same service for a quarter of the price!!!!!

PROFESSIONAL WELCOMING AND TALENTED

As a natural blond beginning to gray, I have been searching for several years for someone who understands what cool tones look like. I had just about given up having gone to some of the top salons in Brighton and Howell. Always ending up with reddish low lights and yellow or gold high lights. That said, I decided to try one more time and randomly selected Shine Salon in Brighton. I met with Amber for a consultation and today had my appointment with her. I couldn't be happier with my hair color. Amber spent 3 hours strategically foiling low and high lights. She absolutely nailed the color. My search for someone who knows color is over. I won't go anywhere else. Also, salon is very nice, friendly staff, and hands on owner.
