Provided by YPmobileThe story submitted by Kirk is not true. People should get the facts before posting anything that slanders a person or business. An unfortunate series of events did occur that involved mistaken identity caused by a shoplifter who wrote a bad check. Get the facts then post.

Provided by YP.comThis address is actually (or now) Talula Boutique.
A black man came into this shop with his 11 year old daughter to purchase a dress for his wife. A woman came down stairs to greet them. He informed the employee that he was looking to purchase a dress for his wife. The employee rudely said "We don't have any" to the man. The man was standing in front of the dresses that he was looking through for his wife ... so they obviously sold the dresses.
The woman went back upstairs and everyone in the shop could overhear her telling another employee to "call the cops" and said the "Big Black Guy" is in the shop. They called the police and the police responded. Once the police arrived, they found out that the "Big Black Guy" was actually a former police officer. Obviously the man had done nothing wrong.
I knew that Brighton was a little snobby sometimes, but this level of racism has no place anywhere in today's society. This behavior is inexcusable !!
