Bought a 1998 Honda Prelude in March of 2012 from Prestige, these are normally solid cars even with high mileage. The transmission failed 4 months later and had it rebuilt for $2500, then the next month the balancer / crankshaft pully fell off due to the fact that someone had stripped the threads connecting the balancer to the crankshaft and had welded it back on, hack job destined for failure, now am looking at $3000 for a replacement engine or spend the same amount to have the crankshaft replaced. Bottom line, transmissions fail which is ok, but the engine was hacked together. Maybe Prestige is innocent and didn't know, but I made the bad choice of buying this car from them.
