Crown Oil began in 1931 by Paul J. Fanelli, Sr., son of Italian immigrants, in their backyard garage. He delivered ice and range oil to residences and was the 7-Up® distributor for area markets. He soon took on a partner, Angelo Spinelli, and both worked the business to include home heating oil and service.  

After Paul's death in 1979 and Angelo's retirement, the business remained in the Fanelli family with Anna (Paul's widow) and her children. We have expanded our services to include diesel, K-1 kerosene, installations, and central air conditioning. We take great pride in our over 70 years of servicing Bristol and its surrounding towns.

OUR MARKET: Although we are based in Bristol, we are proud to provide home heating oil delivery to our neighbors in Burlington, Harwinton, Farmington, Plainville, Southington, Terryville and elsewhere.
