Provided by YP.comThe Apalach, as it is refered to by locals, isn't a very large restaurant, but is good nonetheless. During the day you can order off the menu or enjoy the small but tasty buffet bar. The bar normally has 3-4 meat dishes, and just like all southern diners, it always has fried chicken. It also includes about 6 other dishes that are normally pastas, veggies, and breads. They usually have 3 choices of desert too. While you don't have too many choices on the buffet bar, the salad bar is always good and fresh and the menu has a pretty good variety to be such a small establishment. They have everything from the basic BLT to steaks and seafood. The staff is always very attentive and goes out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you ask for all the while, maintaining a very upbeat attitude... I would rate the food about a 3 simply because it is small town and does not offer the choices of say, neighboring Tallahassee restaurants and I would give the service a 4 because they do a great job, but sometimes the place is so crowded that you have to wait a while before you get served.
Just an extra note- unless you're a regular or you go in with a local, plan to wait a little longer than usual if you go in to eat around lunch time on Sundays as most of the local church members seem to congregate here for the meal!
