Provided by SuperpagesI am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding. The customer service was great.

Levin Retired Culinary Arts TeacherRating: As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and retired Culinary Arts Teacher for more than 39 years, I feel more than eminently qualified to say "This was hands down, the best Indian meal my wife and I have ever enjoyed. The restaurant is very nicely appointed with a lovely atmosphere and furnishings.Gigi and his wife are magnificent in the preparation of recipes he proudly states are handed down from mother to daughter and mother to son.Everything we had was exquisitely prepared, exciting to the palate, and the presentation was beautiful. We shared an appetizer of Pakora perfectly prepared with two excellent sauces to sample. My Lamb Rogan Josh was so tender it literally dissolved on my tongue. The sauce with just the perfect amount of seasoning made my salivary glands pump overtime. My wife had the chicken khorma which also proved to be a gustatory extravaganza. We had a side of mango chutney and two orders of Nann which precluded ordering dessert (which Gigi convinced us we must try on our next visit). You may rest assured the next visit will be very soon. Posted on 4/4/2008 by Steven L.

Provided by SuperpagesThis is an exceptional fabulous Indian restaurant. The owner is very friendly and helpful making selections, everything is prepared fresh and I have never tried anything I disliked. Everything is cooked to order so it may take a few minutes longer, but it is byob so I never seem to mind. It's on Mill St in Bristol, a cute section of town with plenty of street parking. Dress code is casual and decor is nice traditional indian with American touch. I strongly recommend it for any "beginner" or "pro" Indian eater. TIna, Newtown PA
