Operational since 1923, South Dakota Wheat Growers operates as a grain and agronomy cooperative. Located in Bristol, S.D., the cooperative offers various services, such as seed treatment, crop service, planter calibration and agronomy equipment leases. Some of the products provided include anhydrous ammonia, fumigants, herbicides, liquid fertilizer and micro nutrients. Over 16,000 equity holders, along with 3,600 active producer members utilize its products and services. South Dakota Wheat Growers operates train loading facilities across Wolsey, Mellette, McLaughlin, Alpena, Andover, Roscoe, Highmore and Aberdeen.
