Horrible experience. My son had emergency surgery on his testicle that had twisted and blood flow stopped. On follow up visit to remove stitches, we were told they would not take his insurance. Just the Co pay aline would be $150.00. I left and took him to school, and called his pediatrician, who said they do not remove other physicians sutures, but that it should be included as post surgical follow up and not be charged for. I called The Urology Clinic back and told them this. They then went and spoke with urologist who said to bring him back and he would not charge. I had to leave work and go pick him back up from school and take him back out to The Urology Clinic. We have now been sitting in the waiting room for two hours and five minutes, waiting to be called. Guess they are punishing us for asking the urologist to finish up this surgery by removing sutures.
