Other karate schools don't hold a candle to JKO! While other schools come and go, JKO has been teaching from the same location since 1969 (just 1 short 1/2-block move from upstairs to downstairs). The instructors are the best! Every instructor is well-trained and up-to-date on the best ways to defend yourself against anything that comes along.This dojo teaches authentic, traditional, Japanese Karate-do, in addition to traditional sword (iai-do and batto-do) and weapons (kobudo). The chief instructor is the Chairman for AAU Karate in the Southeastern District and hosts the annual qualifying tournaments for the AAU National and AAU Junior Olympic Competitions. They also offer special seminars with world-renowned teachers.There are about a dozen classes offered at JKO each week for children as young as 4 and adults of all ages - there is something for everyone.I am certain that you will not be disappointed in the instruction at JKO - it's truly the BEST!
