Dr Desai, although a little strange at first, was nice enough, but she does not seem to have any understanding or training in substance abuse disorders. Even though the website claims that she does. She childishly threatened to cut off my psychiatric meds (non-addictive ones that i need and have been on for years) because of one slip up! When I asked her how this would be helpful in any way, she just kept repeating that she refuses to prescribe them to me any more. Like she was punishing me! what kind of doctor does that?! I had to walk out of the office! It’s a holiday weekend so it’s going to be hard to find a new psychiatrist soon enough before my prescriptions run out! I’m just absolutely floored by her lack of professionalism!! the only good things to say about this place are that it was clean and the secretary is very sweet. Do not go here if you want professional care.

If you like a doctor who will jam pills down your throat after a 5 minute diagnosis, she is the doc for you!! She cares more about big pharma than her patients. She wrote me a prescription for Seroquel before the test I insisted on taking has not even been completed yet,. Then tells me if I refuse the Seroquel she would cut off the ADD meds.
