Thank you Spurr Dealership, your staff did a fantastic job at showing me your inventory, explaining the options and helping me make my selection for my new GMC Sierra 2500. I got a great deal and again, your staff was more than accommodating at making certain the delivery of my new truck went flawlessly. Thank you again for a pleasurable buying experience.

Spurr Dealerships is the most professional auto dealership that I have ever dealt with. From the moment of contact I was pleased with their courtesy and efficiency. Thank you for making the purchase of my incredible vehicle such a tremendous experience.

I just purchased a 2014 FWD Encore from Spurr's 1st class sales person Ralph Dollinger. It the most honest and helpful sales experience I can recall in buying a new car. I went to 3 other dealers 1st and when I sat with Ralph within 10 minutes I knew I was getting the one of the most professional and honest sales experiences I could recall. They priced the car with complete honesty and accuracy the 1st tim!! (I knew that because of my 3 prior experiences and my internet research). Unlike the other dealers that kept what was happening in the rebates, dealer prep in their pricing vague Ralph and Spurr were upfront, clear and honest throughout. It made buying the car a delightful experience. Not a word I would normally use when buying a car. I had a trade in of 2010 Chevy and again was most pleased with how they handle the trade and the $ amount I was given. I would strongly recommend Ralph and Spurr is you are considering buying a car.

We live near Spurr and have go...

We live near Spurr and have gone there twice in the past couple years, but have never purchased. Whatever took place the first time, does not even matter, as our last visit there was totally disgusting. The other dealership in Brockport, what used to be "Barry Dodge", is also somewhere to avoid. It's sad, as we wanted to keep our business local, but there is really no incentive to do so. "Barry" sold us a car and as soon as we drove off the lot, one of the tires went flat. I asked for two new tires, so the front end was again solid, aligned and matching. They threatened the level of future service I would receive if they had to give me two tires, as they felt one was suffice.

Our last visit to Spurr was one we went into well educated about our trade, our needs and we were already pre-approved for a loan through our own bank. They looked at our trade for exactly 2 minutes, did not drive it and walked away. We had been getting offers ranging from 4,000 - 4,500 from other, larger dealerships.

Then the most snotty and scowl-faced salesman walks over to us and says: "We have four cars you can choose from to stay under $300.00 per month". We asked, well what was the value of our trade, and he says "$1,000.00". We immediately said that's not nearly high enough and told him of our other offers. He then proceeded to tell us the other dealerships were lying and had told us whatever number they wanted, but would then just add the difference to the price of the car we had picked out. What he did not know is that we had not picked out a car yet. We never pick out a car until we know what the trade offer is, and would advise you do the same.

To humor this clown, we said ok, show us the four cars. This was right after he said, "look, do you want to see the four cars or not?" Like we were wasting his time or something. We start walking and he does not even look back, but just points to a PT Cruiser to his left side and says "that PT Cruiser is the first and there's a Chevy Cobalt up ahead here".

We told him to stop walking, as we were not interested in either of the cars and we left.

We were pre-approved for 20,000 and had a 4,000 trade, and wanted a car that would keep us under $300 per month. The way we were treated and talked to was not only disgusting and rude, but insulting.

I don't know how they are still in business, as this treatment was similar both times we tried to "keep it local".

If I could give them a negative rating I would.

Horrible attitude, horrible approach and horrible feeling at this place. Save yourself some time and drive right past it.

Educated Couple,
